Meet your guide

Hi, I’m Anna Beth (most call me ABR), a piano teacher and pedagogy explorer who got tired of feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of great method books out there. So I mapped the terrain.

Piano Method Navigator is a free, teacher-built resource to help you teach adaptively, creatively, and with the entire “method toolbox” at your fingertips.

I’m not affiliated with any publisher. It’s just me at my method-book-covered desk, nerding out on a passion project and trying to give back to the field. I hope you’ll join me by using the tools, sharing your ideas, or collaborating to grow PMN even further!

Piano Method Navigator is here to help you chart your way through the wide world of piano method book series. Learn how to teach piano effectively through different method series by exploring the PMN piano teacher resources. Ultimately, the best piano method book is the one that works for you and your students!
