While I’ve spent years honing my skills in nonprofits and small businesses, my roots are in piano education. With two degrees in piano pedagogy and extensive experience as a piano teacher, I still have a soft spot for arts educators.

The skills I’ve developed—strategic planning, communications, event management, content creation—give me a unique advantage when helping piano teachers. I know what it’s like to navigate the challenges of building a successful teaching business while staying true to your creative vision. And I’m here to help you make it happen.

Studio Policies

For private piano teachers, a studio policy is arguably the most important business document. Beyond the nuts and bolts of housekeeping, a good studio policy sets the tone of your studio, protects your time, elevates your professionalism, streamlines your communication, makes sure you get paid consistently, minimizes dreaded conflict, and sets the stage for respectful relationships. TFS provides studio policy services that offer you teacher-tested-and-approved options and help you write a policy that is unique to you, your teaching situation, and your students. Starting at $99.

“Anna Beth was very encouraging and insightful. We discussed in detail the possibilities that a CRM would offer my organization and the issues key to choosing a CRM. I now have a roadmap to follow and will keep Anna Beth informed. I look forward to discussing this further with Anna Beth as this journey plays out. Thanks to Anna Beth!”

I have known and worked with Anna Beth for a number of years. My first interactions with her took place during her tenure as Associate Director of Operations and Communications at The Frances Clark Center and its National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy. As a perennial participant in the conference as committee member, presenter, and exhibitor, I enjoyed working with Anna Beth and very much appreciated the fact that she would also go the extra mile for me. More recently, I have worked on a joint conference presentation with her—a delightful experience! She is highly creative, well organized, and always open to new ideas and opportunities for collaboration.
